N Dade 85 over West Prong Sons Creek

8:15am- crew laying out pile locations. 

Bent 2 work pad formed up. 

8:56am- pile driving begins on Bent 1. 

9:13am- 2nd pile going in. 

9:25am- 3rd pile getting set. 

9:44am- 4th pile going in. This hole when pre-bored never encountered rock. At 20’ the drilled hit a cavern. 

9:57am- 4th pile in for now. A 40’ piece of pile will be here tomorrow and get welded on; pile will be driven then to see if it will hit refusal.

First three pile were driven to refusal. Contractor to notify us on driving 4th hole tomorrow. 
10:42am- update: pile and welder will be here this afternoon and pile will be driven on 4th hole today yet. 
10:45am- cutoffs are now occurring. 

12:43pm- the extra 40’ pile just got unloaded. 

1:30pm- section is getting welded up to pile in the ground now. 

2:31pm- still welding up pile as work pad is getting aet up here on Bent 1 now. 

3:29pm- 4th hole now has pile to refusal. Of the 40’ piece welded on today; the cutoff is 17’-10&3/4”.
